A community to sync features between Fedora and Debian, two of the greatest GNU/Linux distributions. This community aims to provide tips for users coming from one distribution to the other. This community also aims to hack to bring cool features missing in one distro to the other.

  • Fix DHCP - currently the DHCP timeout is very small and it does not get an ip neither while booting nor from the GNOME menu. The command dhclient eth0 correctly gets the ip address.

  • Make sudo smarter. sudo command should look at /sbin for administrative commands. sudo should tab complete commands.
