GNU/Linux Users Group Calicut (glugc) has been working inside the campus to promote FOSS since Dec 2003. Every year glugc organises national level Free and Open Source Software event called FOSS Meet @ NITC.

It is all set to have its third edition during 2-4 March 2007. More details available on the FOSS Meet @ NITC 2007 website http://www.foss.nitc.ac.in.
