We are trying to capture the list of Indian FOSS contributors here. This means, i suppose, Indians in India, as contributions of Indians in foreign is huge, and not a subject of the debate here. Also contibution to application software finds a place here. We could also think of adding background information on the developers. Like background: IT/NonIT, Profession: Student/Employee/Entrepreneur, if employee - MNC or local. Big or small. This may help pinpoint the type or person who contributes to FOSS.
